$4

Again I found myself driving down the 5, in a dark car with the freeway lights pulsating and bouncing the shadows of my car's leathery seats...
Roll up the window, take a deep breath of the Glendale air then exit the car to meet with the cohort. On this quest to live life... or some shit like that. In his back house we talked extensively about a solid business plan. Every time an idea is put out on the table, our fears of reality swipe them away and all we were left with is mahogany, which hasnt contributed to our success at all.
Should we make a book with an album included? Should we continue to take photos, write stories like always and feel like nothing is accomplished? Make clothing following in other people's footsteps? OR put our fucking minds to venture out into imagination that 9 times out of 20 lands you in the middle of no where.
Snap, Burn slow, twitch, relax.
Peter picks us up to get the brew and the love. I pitch in my $4 from the other nights change. We then cruse to Izzy Uy's party. at 10 there was maybe about 9 people in a small apartment. By 12 there was drinks being passed and conversations being had by more than 15 people. All of them genuine, all expressing a want to move out of Glendale. Move out of what we know as lower middle class poverty. But every one had a good time, even the dude from Cornell threw up his share of the fun outside, a champions meal for the flies and judgmental stares of neighbors. We met every one who worked at In-n-out. a small shout out to Caroll who kept it cool. Nadene and Sarah were pretty sick with the Blue moon. and all though there was no Blue moon to look up at the sky when we left, we all howled our goodbyes in slurs and handshakes. My cohort, needed a pat on the back so that he could flex his gag. Even he recovered. Every one left with a drink in their bellies and a lingering conversation in their minds, and i say thats worth more than $46.
Thanks Izzy for a great time
